GEFONT is organising a one day interactive policy discussion on the very theme in order to mark WDDW 2015. Programme will be specific on sectoral development on the issue targeting to clothing industry.
Devastated by April 25 earthquake and panic by the recent blockade imposed by India, the GEFONT is expecting development of specific policy on Clothing and RMG sector.
A proposal of policy to be tabled by GEFONT TUPI (Trade Union Policy Instittue) where the employers leader from RMG sector will shared their proposal. Closely watching great tragedy due to the corporate greed in Rana Plaza of Bangladesh, GEFONT will relate the policy with ITUC call of End Corporate Greed on October 07, 2015 Programme.
There will be representation of Major National centres along with employers leaders and specifically- the leaders of clothing industry unions. It is expected, the day will come out with some sort of policy paper for Nepali unions.
